How to Get to Know Yourself Better

How to Get to Know Yourself Better

It is your human right to be your authentic self. You do not need permission from anyone else. You do not have to do as you are told. The way to live life is to choose to do what excites you and stop worrying about what people and issues outside of you control “might” be thinking or saying about you. You need to move away for this need of doggy biscuits of approval from other people.

The way to do this is to get to know yourself better. Do you know what excites you? Are you able to listen to what your mind and body are telling you?

By opening up to this type of self awareness, in turn you are opening your life to new exciting opportunities.

You are like an iceberg, there is what is on the surface. The part of you on the surface that everyone sees is only about 25% of who you are. What is hidden underneath holds so much more.

So how do you want to live? You could be seen as an elegant swan floating across a pond. But what is going on underneath. Are you paddling like crazy to stay afloat or are you relaxed and enjoying the experience of life?

If you know who you are, you can take responsibility from within for your life. If you are focus on the surface of what other people see, you are just opening yourself to anxiety and stress where too many what if questions can be asked.

Self-awareness gives you control. What will you do that excites you? What do you want if you could have anything? Maybe it is not that unrealistic if you focus on it.

Your life is not about having low confidence, low self-esteem or having anxieties that put your stress levels through the roof.
